This course aims at strengthening students’ knowledge of artistic discourses in prose and poetry, namely the narrative, descriptive and selected poetry types. It focuses on creating cognition for the writing and analytical processes of these genres, while at the same time, providing the student-teacher with the tools, experiences, knowledge and skills necessary to be able to transform knowledge and skills in instructional contexts in the primary school. Furthermore, it encourages the effective use of visual aids and graphic organizers that will facilitate and enhance instruction in these genres.
