In this course we get more involved with limits. We look at the limits and properties of Sequences and Series, i.e. Arithmetic and Geometric Progressions. The application of mathematical induction to sequences and series is also covered. Furthermore, the binomial theorem is undertaken as we look at binomial coefficients and expansion of binomials. Word problems are given with application of the binomial theorem. Factorials are very important in this course as well. In addition, we spend quite a few times working error bounds and estimation of data. Finally, we look at the Intermediate Value Theorem as a method for finding roots of equations and ending with approximations, making emphasis on the Newton-Raphson Method.
