Human Resources Management deals with the management of people within an organization and motivating them to excel in their workplace. This course will expose students to the internal and external factors influencing and shaping human resources in the workplace. It will introduce students to objectives, functions, and organization of personnel programs, the motivational models and the career management system, and the activities involved in human resources planning including recruitment, selection and placement, training and development, compensation, health and safety, and employee relations. Lastly the course will expose students to the management of conflict in the workplace.
